The Defiant 7 Clutch is an automatic knife designed by Matt Martin of Vehement Knives, built for collectors and EDC carriers who want fast deployment in a lightweight package. Its sleek bowie profile and knurled aluminum handles give it a distinct, purposeful look.

Blade

The 3.31" bowie blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a stonewash finish, hardened to 62-63 HRC. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel prized for its balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it easy to maintain while holding an edge through regular use. The bowie shape offers a sharp clip point and defined belly for precise piercing and controlled slicing.

Handle

Handles are 3D contoured 6061 aluminum with a blue knurled texture. Aluminum is lightweight and corrosion resistant, and the knurling adds grip without adding bulk. At only 3.5 ounces, this knife disappears in the pocket.

Carry

This is an automatic knife that opens via button lock, which also secures the blade open during use and releases it with a press of the same button. A titanium pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
