Nitro-V Fixed Blade with Leopard Wood Handle

The Bear Cub is Fiddleback Forge's compact fixed blade, designed for bushcraft and outdoor tasks. Handmade in Cumming, Georgia, each knife features custom details like the distinctive fiddleback spine and premium materials. The Bear Cub is a smaller companion to Fiddleback Forge's larger knives, built for portability without sacrificing functionality.

Blade: The tapered blade uses Nitro-V stainless steel, a refined version of AEB-L with nitrogen addition. Nitro-V offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and a fine grain structure that takes a polished edge well. Hardness runs 59-61 HRC, making it easy to sharpen when needed.

Handle: Leopard wood scales provide a warm, natural grip with distinctive patterning. Wood handles develop a pleasant patina with use and offer excellent grip in all conditions. The exposed tang extends through the handle for balance and durability.

Sheath: Includes a handmade leather sheath with belt loop. The sheath provides secure retention and protects the blade when not in use.
