The Bourdreaux is a custom fixed blade from Fiddleback Forge, designed for hard-use tasks like bushcraft, camping, and survival. Handcrafted in Cumming, GA, this knife combines rugged performance with refined aesthetics.

Blade: The tapered A2 steel blade offers excellent toughness and decent edge retention. A2 is an air-hardening tool steel with 1.0% carbon and 5% chromium, providing better corrosion resistance than O1 while maintaining strong performance in demanding tasks. It's a favorite among custom knifemakers for its balance of durability and ease of sharpening.

Handle: Blackout burlap micarta scales provide a secure, textured grip that resists moisture and wear. Micarta is a laminated composite material known for its durability and resistance to cracking or warping.

Sheath: Includes a handcrafted leather sheath for secure carry and protection.
