The Hellbender Mudpup 6 is a full-size outdoor and camp knife built for hard use in the field. With a 5.5" blade and full-size handle, it suits hunters, campers, and outdoorsmen who want a durable tool for batoning, food prep, and general bushcraft tasks.

Blade

The 5.5" drop point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.1875" thick, finished in a Coyote Cerakote coating. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered for an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it well suited to demanding outdoor use. The Cerakote finish adds an additional layer of protection against moisture and wear. The drop point profile offers a strong tip and a generous belly for controlled cutting.

Handle

The handle is built from Tri-Color G-10, a fiberglass laminate known for being lightweight, stable in wet conditions, and resistant to cracking or warping. At 9.5oz overall, the knife has enough heft for chopping tasks while remaining manageable for extended carry.

Carry

This fixed blade ships with a leather sheath, offering a traditional look and rigid protection for the edge. The sheath allows for secure belt carry, and as a fixed blade there is no lock mechanism - the tang runs solid through the handle for maximum strength.
