The Hellbender Newt is a compact fixed blade built for close-in utility and everyday carry as a backup or neck knife. Its small footprint and light weight make it easy to carry all day, whether clipped in a pocket or worn around the neck.

Blade

The 2" sheepsfoot blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern powder steel that delivers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness in one package. It is finished in a charcoal green Cerakote, a ceramic-based coating that adds extra protection against rust and wear. The sheepsfoot profile gives a straight cutting edge and a strong, controlled tip, well suited to detail work and repetitive slicing tasks.

Handle

The handle uses black G-10, a fiberglass laminate prized for its durability and secure grip even in wet conditions. At just 1.9oz, the Newt is light enough to forget you're carrying it. The contoured pocket clip settles between the fingers in hand, helping eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable grip.

Carry

As a fixed blade, the Newt has no lock mechanism - the blade and handle are a single solid piece of steel. It comes with a Kydex sheath, a rigid molded plastic that offers secure retention and quick-draw access, adaptable for neck carry, pocket carry, or belt mounting.
