The Hellbender Newt is a compact fixed blade built for close-in utility and everyday carry as a backup or neck knife. Its small footprint and light weight make it easy to carry all day, whether clipped in a pocket or worn around the neck.

Blade

The 2" sheepsfoot blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern powder steel that delivers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness in one package. It is finished in a charcoal green Cerakote, a ceramic-based coating that adds extra protection against rust and wear. The sheepsfoot profile gives a straight cutting edge and a strong, controlled tip, well suited to detail work and repetitive slicing tasks.

Handle

The handle uses black G-10, a fiberglass laminate prized for its durability and secure grip even in wet conditions. At just 1.9oz, the Newt is light enough to forget you're carrying it.

Carry

As a fixed blade, the Newt has no lock mechanism - the blade and handle are a single solid piece of steel. It comes with a Kydex sheath, a rigid molded plastic that offers secure retention and quick-draw access, adaptable for neck carry, pocket carry, or belt mounting.
