Blade

The 2" sheepsfoot blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a charcoal green Cerakote finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel prized for its excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness relative to other high-performance steels. The sheepsfoot profile puts a flat edge and rounded spine to work for controlled, precise cuts. The Cerakote coating adds an extra layer of protection against moisture and wear.

Handle

Jade G-10 scales cover the handle. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate resin that resists water absorption, holds up to hard use, and provides a stable, textured grip. At just 1.9oz, the Newt carries virtually unnoticed.

Carry

The Newt ships with a Kydex sheath molded to fit the blade for secure retention. Kydex is a rigid thermoplastic that holds its shape and resists wear better than leather, making it suited for neck carry, pocket carry, or discreet everyday use.
