MagnaCut Fixed Blade with Canvas Micarta Handle

The Hellbender Outfitter is a compact fixed blade designed for outdoor tasks and bushcraft. At 7.5" overall length, it balances portability with enough blade length (3.5") for processing small game, carving, and camp chores. The tumbled finish on MagnaCut steel gives it a rugged, field-ready look while maintaining excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance.

Blade

The 3.5" blade uses MagnaCut steel with a tumbled finish. MagnaCut is a premium American powder metallurgy stainless steel designed to maximize edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness simultaneously. The tumbled finish helps hide use scratches while providing a slightly textured grip along the spine. At 0.110" thick, it's sturdy enough for batoning but still light at just 3oz.

Handle

The OD Green canvas micarta scales are bolted to a full tang. Canvas micarta is made with canvas fabric compressed with phenolic resin, resulting in a coarse texture that provides excellent grip even when wet. It's tough, durable, and develops character with use. The handle is slightly textured and feels warm in the hand.

Carry

Includes a leather sheath. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel. The leather sheath provides secure retention and can be configured for belt or pack carry.
