Heretic Cleric 2
The Heretic Cleric II is the extended reach version of the original Cleric, a double action OTF that adds 1.25 inches of overall length to push the blade to 4.25 inches. That makes it one of the longest blades in the Heretic Knives lineup, hand assembled and tuned in Sebastian, Florida, while keeping a slim handle that still carries.
Cleric II Size and Blade-to-Handle Ratio
The Cleric II measures 10 inches open and 5.75 inches closed on a 0.125 inch blade, at about 4.7 to 4.8 ounces. Heretic stretched the knife to maximize blade relative to handle, so you get full size reach without a bulky grip. Double Action Thumb Slide and Glass Breaker
A textured thumb slide on the face of the handle both fires and retracts the blade, and Heretic hand tunes every Cleric II before it ships for a hard, consistent action. The slender handle follows the original Cleric's contours and scallops, with a textured inlay right where your thumb indexes. A glass breaker in the pommel adds emergency capability for vehicle or first responder use.
Cleric II Tanto in CPM MagnaCut
Every Cleric II runs CPM MagnaCut, hardened around 63 HRC, a stainless that pairs high toughness with outstanding corrosion resistance. Heretic builds it in tanto, single edge, and double edge, with plain, partially serrated, and fully serrated edges, and our comparison of every major knife steel shows why MagnaCut suits a hard working OTF. Cleric II Handles and Finishes
The handle is hard anodized aluminum with inlays in carbon fiber or textured stainless steel, and some builds pair carbon fiber with blue titanium accents and clip against black hardware. Blades come in stonewash and other finishes. Each one is made in the USA with the build quality that defines Heretic.
