With great excitement Heritage Knives launches the reproduction of the Lance Corporal Geddes Kukri, based on the original antique WW 1 pattern.

The Geddes Kukri comes with great history attached to it going back to the British Army during WW1. It was hand forged in their workshop to be used in the outdoors and will greatly benefit any outdoor activity, from bushcraft to hunting. This Kukri is made to be used just as it was intended during WW1 as a weapon and tool, to assist you in all tasks needed in the field. It follows the original historical measurements with a slight increase in handle size.

The original piece was not part of the Standard military issued Kukri knives but a private purchase Kukri and in traditional terms would be called “Ang khola” meaning a back valley, as the blade has a ridge (fuller) over the belly which creates two “valleys” on each side of the blade and gives a martial feel to the blade. It is a powerful “chopper” and was a favorite style of both soldiers and officers in the first half of the 20th century.
