The Herman Big Sting takes the clean, minimalist profile of the original Sting and scales it up for a more confident grip. It's built for everyday carry users who want a discreet folder that still offers enough handle real estate for longer cuts or added control under pressure.

Blade

The 3.74" blade is made from Elmax Uddeholm steel with a stonewash finish. Elmax is a powder-metallurgy stainless steel that balances strong edge retention with good corrosion resistance and toughness, making it a reliable choice for daily use. The stonewash finish helps hide small scratches that come with regular carry.

Handle

The handle is titanium with a DLC Nebula Ripple finish, giving it a dark, textured look while keeping weight low. Titanium is naturally corrosion resistant and strong relative to its weight, which helps keep the Big Sting at a manageable 5.29oz despite its larger frame.

Carry

A linerlock secures the blade open, using a spring-loaded metal liner that locks behind the blade tang and is pushed aside to close. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry.
