The Hinderer Half Track is one of the smallest folders Rick Hinderer makes, and its two part handle, a titanium frame lock base with a scale on the show side, makes it one of the easiest Hinderers to restyle. Half Track Hardware Kits
A complete kit swaps the hardware in one pass, in brass, copper, working finish, and blue or bronze anodized titanium. On a knife this compact the hardware shows more than you'd think, so a full color change makes a big difference. Brass and copper build a patina with time and handling, while anodized titanium keeps its color and stays light.
Handle Screws and Standoffs
The Half Track shares its handle screws with the Jurassic and MP-1, so titanium screw sets in blue, bronze, battle blue, and battle bronze work across all three. Standoff sets in brass and copper are sized for the Half Track frame. If you own more than one of these knives, a single color can tie your collection together.
Half Track Replacement Scales
The show side scale is the easiest way to change the knife's feel. Choose smooth or textured bronze anodized titanium, smooth or textured carbon fiber, smooth or textured canvas Micarta in natural, green, and burgundy, or textured G-10 in coyote, orange, blue, toxic green, and two tone blends. Micarta warms in the hand and builds character, while G-10 shrugs off hard use.
