Hogue Mysto
The Hogue Mysto is a 3.4 inch CPM MagnaCut manual folder on Hogue's ambidextrous ABLE Lock, the crossbar that also anchors the smaller Hogue Deka. It debuted in 2023 as a titanium Collector Series knife, the first titanium build in Hogue's American made lineup, and has since grown into Richlite, carbon fiber, G-10, and aluminum versions that make it one of the most versatile folding knives Hogue builds.
3.4 Inch CPM MagnaCut Blade Profiles
Every Mysto runs a 0.115 inch CPM MagnaCut blade at 62 to 64 HRC, cryogenically treated and hand honed, on phosphor bronze washers at 7.8 inches overall. The clip point leads the lineup, drop points appear on Hogue Hunting and our exclusives, and the upswept tanto is reserved for titanium Collector Series builds. Finishes include stonewash, stone tumbled, black stonewash, orange and FDE Cerakote, and Armor Black. Mysto Element Series in Richlite
Scott Bruhns designed the Element Series around five natural elements, each in its own Richlite: Earth in Browns Point, Fire in Redstone, Water in Blue Canyon, Wood in Maple Valley, and Metal in Black Diamond. Several carry laser engraved topographic patterns, and each weighs 2.5 ounces and ships with a Bruhns Design element patch. Richlite is a resin infused paper composite, common on guitar fretboards, that stays grippy wet, and our guide to knife handle materials covers it in depth.
Titanium, Carbon Fiber, and Hogue Hunting Mysto Builds
The titanium Collector Series uses CNC milled 6AL-4V with a swirl pattern and red anodized thumb studs and backspacers at 3.5 ounces. The carbon fiber Mysto pairs an Armor Black clip point with blue titanium hardware and Glow Rhino blue tritium. For the field, the Hogue Hunting Mysto adds the HH Slash logo on Black Diamond Richlite with an orange blade or Maple Valley.
DLT Exclusive Mysto in OD Green
