KNAFS O.C.T.
The KNAFS O.C.T. stands for Old College Try, and the name is the whole story. It is designer Matt "Fitz" Fitzgerald's first full knife, KNAFS's first button lock, and the brand's first build with Bestech, the OEM that has made the mechanism its calling card. Two prototype rounds and a pile of cardboard mockups later, the result is a 1.2 ounce aluminum folder that is genuinely hard to put down.
O.C.T. Button Lock
Bestech dialed the action in around caged ceramic bearings, so the blade deploys off the thumb studs or fires with the button and drops shut the same way. The button itself carries a texture inspired by Old Main at Utah State, one of the small details Fitz refused to phone in, and the contoured 6063 aluminum handle gives a full grip on a knife just over five inches open.
