Leatherman Knives

The Leatherman Knives collection is the brand's move into dedicated cutlery and a departure from the multi-tool platform that built the company. Launched in 2025 under the Built Different initiative, the line runs CPM MagnaCut steel across every blade and comes in two configurations: three full-tang fixed blades (Trac, Rustle, Pioneer) and two folding knives (Blazer, Glider). Every knife is made in Portland, Oregon.

Trac, Rustle, and Pioneer Fixed Blades

The three fixed blades cover distinct use cases. The Trac is the general-purpose field knife with a 4.2-inch drop point, hollow saber grind, and vegetable-tanned leather sheath, built for hunting, foraging, and precision field work. The Rustle is the camp kitchen knife with a 4-inch Santoku-style blade, full flat grind, and Kydex sheath, chef knife geometry in a blade that holds an edge through a full week of camp cooking. At 4.3 ounces it's the lightest fixed blade in the line. The Pioneer is the bushcraft and survival knife with a 5-inch Japanese tanto blade, flat saber grind, and hybrid leather and Kydex sheath. At 8.3 ounces, it's built for batoning, prying, and hard-use field work. All three run full-tang construction with machined G10 scales, jimping on the spine, and radiused tang edges to prevent hot spots.

Blazer and Glider Folding Knives

The Blazer and Glider are Leatherman's folders, both built on a 12-part construction with machined 416 stainless steel scales internally cored to save weight. The Blazer runs a 3.15-inch hollow saber ground drop point for general EDC. The Glider runs a 3-inch hollow saber ground sheepsfoot blade for controlled slicing. Both use Leatherman's patent-pending Compression Wedge Lock, which combines button-lock ease with compression-lock strength. Both weigh 3.7 ounces and ship with a reversible deep-carry pocket clip and a lanyard bead that doubles as a bit driver for Leatherman flat bits and quarter-inch hex bits.

Every knife in the collection runs MagnaCut at 60 to 63 HRC. DLT stocks the Trac in Jet Black and Earth Brown G10, the Rustle in Vapor Grey and Evergreen G10, the Pioneer in Orange Pop G10, the Blazer in stainless and Denim Cerakote, and the Glider in Okra and Jet Black Cerakote.
