The Lishen Dakota is a mid-size fixed blade suited for bushcraft and everyday outdoor use. Handmade by Lishen Knives, it pairs a tough carbon steel blade with a distinctive Micarta handle finished off with mosaic pins for a personalized touch.

Blade

The 3.875" blade is made from A2 tool steel, measuring 0.125" thick. A2 is prized for its toughness and stability, holding a good working edge while resisting chipping better than many high-carbon steels. It's a favorite among makers for knives that need to stand up to batoning, carving, and general field abuse without failing.

Handle

The 4.875" handle is wrapped in Juniper Jute Micarta, a composite made by compressing layers of jute fabric with resin under heat and pressure. This gives the handle a warm, natural texture along with durability and moisture resistance. Mosaic pins run through the scales, adding a decorative accent to the construction. Overall weight comes in at 6.77oz.

Carry

The Dakota ships with a leather sheath, offering a classic look and a snug friction fit for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there's no lock to worry about - the tang and blade are a single solid piece of steel, giving it inherent strength for hard use.
