Blade

The 3.875" blade uses AEB-L stainless steel at 0.125" thick. AEB-L is a Swedish carbon steel with excellent edge retention and polishability, making it ideal for knives where a refined edge is important. It has a fine grain structure that takes a mirror polish well and holds its sharpness through heavy use.

Handle

Black canvas micarta scales are bolted to the full tang with black pins. Canvas micarta offers a rugged, textured grip that improves when wet, making it ideal for outdoor use. The material is tough, lightweight, and develops a beautiful patina with use. At 6.5oz the knife has good heft for chopping tasks while remaining portable.

Carry

Ships with a leather sheath that provides secure retention and classic styling. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel. The sheath holds the knife securely with positive snap retention.
