Blade

The 3.875" blade uses AEB-L stainless steel at 0.125" thick. AEB-L is a refined carbon steel with excellent edge retention and a fine grain structure that takes a polished edge well. It's a popular choice for custom knives and EDC folders, offering a balance of toughness and sharpness. The blade's geometry is well-suited for slicing and general utility work.

Handle

The handle is crafted from spalted maple burl with black pins. Spalted maple features striking black zones created by fungal decomposition, giving each knife a unique appearance. The wood is stable, lightweight, and provides a comfortable grip. At 6.5oz the knife has good heft without being cumbersome.

Sheath

Includes a leather sheath for secure carry. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel. The sheath holds the knife securely with positive retention.
