Blade

The 4" blade is made from A2 tool steel at 0.125" thick. A2 is prized for its toughness and stability, holding a good edge while resisting chipping under lateral stress - a reliable choice for tasks that combine cutting and light prying.

Handle

The handle is finished in Admiral Blue Jute Micarta, a composite made from layered jute fabric soaked in resin and compressed under heat. Micarta is valued for its grip texture, water resistance, and durability over time. At just over 5 ounces, the knife carries light for its size.

Carry

The Orson 2 ships with a leather sheath for belt or pouch carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang runs through the handle as one solid piece, giving the knife its strength.
