A2 Fixed Blade with Micarta Handles

Blade

The 4" blade is made from A2 tool steel at 0.125" thick. A2 is prized for its toughness and resistance to chipping, making it a reliable choice for a knife that sees repeated hard use. It holds a good working edge and is straightforward to sharpen in the field.

Handle

The handle is burgundy canvas Micarta over thick green liners. Micarta is a resin-impregnated fabric composite, prized for its durability, grip texture, and resistance to moisture. The layered green liners add a distinctive look to the handle's edge. At just over 5oz, the knife carries light without feeling insubstantial.

Carry

The Orson 2 ships with a leather sheath designed for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to engage or disengage - the tang and blade are one solid piece, and the sheath provides secure retention for daily carry.
