A2 Fixed Blade with Dymalux Handles

The Lishen Orson 2 is a compact fixed blade suited to everyday carry and detailed cutting tasks. Handmade by Lishen Knives, it pairs a tough tool steel with a durable laminate handle for a knife that holds up to daily use while staying lightweight.

Blade

The 4" blade is ground from A2 tool steel at 0.125" thick. A2 is prized for its toughness and stability, resisting chipping and warping better than many high-carbon steels while still taking a keen edge. This makes it a strong choice for detail work and repeated hard use alike.

Handle

The handle is built from Dymalux, a dense hardwood laminate compressed with resin under high pressure. Dymalux offers a stable, water-resistant grip with a distinct layered look, and here it's finished with mosaic pins for added detail. At just over 5oz, the knife carries light for its size.

Carry

The Orson 2 ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there's no lock to worry about - the full construction between blade and handle provides its strength and reliability in the field.
