The 4" blade is made from A2 tool steel, finished at 0.125" thick. A2 is an air-hardening steel known for its toughness and resistance to chipping, making it a strong choice for a knife that sees repeated hard use. It holds a good working edge and is straightforward to resharpen in the field.

Handle

The handle is green canvas Micarta, a material made by compressing layers of linen or canvas fabric with resin under heat and pressure. It offers a secure, textured grip even when wet, and brass pins add a durable, traditional touch to the construction. At just over 5oz, the knife carries light for its size.

Carry

This fixed blade ships with a leather sheath, offering classic protection and a traditional look for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang and handle form one solid piece for maximum strength.
