A2 Fixed Blade with Micarta Handles

Blade

The 4" blade is ground from A2 tool steel at 0.125" thick. A2 is known for its toughness and ability to hold a stable edge under stress, making it a solid choice for a knife that sees hard use without chipping. Its balance of hardness and shock resistance makes it a favorite among custom and semi-custom makers.

Handle

The handle is finished in Midnight Jute Micarta with mosaic pins. Micarta is a composite made by layering natural fibers, in this case jute, with resin under heat and pressure, resulting in a durable, grippy material that only improves with wear. The mosaic pins add a decorative touch to the fastening hardware. Handle length runs 4.375", and the knife weighs 5.08oz.

Carry

This fixed blade ships with a leather sheath, offering traditional belt carry with a snug friction fit. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to engage - the tang runs solid through the handle for a single, unbroken piece of construction.
