The Lon Humphrey Kephart is a traditional knife pattern built to perform to today’s high standards in a look that harkens back a century or more. Forged by Lon in his shop in Ohio, this blade is a razor sharp field/bushcraft/camping knife that will likely win your heart with its classic looks but will win a spot on your belt with flat out top shelf performance. With your choice of Scandi or flat grinds, the Kephart comes hair popping “scary” sharp and is beefy enough to handle even the toughest tasks like batoning with relative ease.
This knife measures approximately 9” overall with a 4.5” blade (.175” thick) blade made of either 1095 or CPM 3V. full, exposed tang construction and corby bolted handles yield a knife that will hold up even under tough conditions. Because each and every knife is forged by Humphrey himself, the lengths and thicknesses vary slightly and every knife is unique and built just for you! Nobody on the planet will have a knife exactly like you. With hammer marks from the forging process left in the blade your Lon Humphrey Kephart will look the part in a Wild West film or on your hip carrying a Sharps rifle or a classic Winchester lever action. Timeless in appearance yet built as well as any knife today’s technology can build this Kephart deserves serious consideration for the lover of historic knives or anyone looking for a blade that can handle the rigors of life outdoors. Proudly made in the USA, includes a leather sheath.
