LT Wright Gen 3
The LT Wright Gen 3 is the big brother of the Genesis, a nearly twelve-inch bush knife that really likes to work. Where the Genesis built LT Wright's reputation, the Gen 3 scales that proven spear point design up into a heavy duty chopper, with a 6.5 inch cutting edge and thick 3/16 inch stock that turns batoning, limbing, and heavy wood prep into easy work.
For all its size, the Gen 3 is no brute. The wider blade and clean spear point handle fine tasks like feathersticks, carving, and large game prep with real control, while the crisp 90 degree spine scrapes tinder or throws sparks off a ferro rod. It is ground from O1 tool steel, a classic carbon steel that takes a keen edge and is easy to bring back in the field, and you can choose the grind that matches your style, whether that is a slicing flat grind, a durable convex, or a controllable saber. A long, comfortable micarta handle fills the hand even with gloves on, and each Gen 3 ships with a heavy duty leather dangler sheath that rewards a bit of routine leather care.
