LT Wright Gen 5
The LT Wright Gen 5 hits the sweet spot in the Genesis family. Built on the same Kephart inspired pattern that launched LT Wright Handcrafted Knives, the Gen 5 stretches the blade to a versatile five inches, longer than the original Genesis for tackling bigger tasks, yet far more nimble than the heavy duty Gen 3. For a lot of woodsmen, this is the one that just feels right in the hand.
The classic spear point handles nearly anything the backcountry throws at it, from woodcarving and feathersticks to skinning and drilling fire boards, while the crisp 90 degree spine scrapes tinder and throws sparks off a ferro rod. Ground from 1/8 inch A2 tool steel, the Gen 5 takes a keen edge, holds it through hard use, and touches up easily in the field.
