LT Wright Sospes
The LT Wright Sospes is a big, capable survival knife built to handle the heavy work when you are far from help. With a 6 inch spear point blade on a 10.5 inch frame and thick 3/16 inch stock, the Sospes has the size, weight, and backbone to baton firewood, process limbs, and build shelter, while the versatile spear point still carves, drills, and handles finer camp tasks with control.
The blade is ground from O1 tool steel, a classic carbon steel that takes a keen edge, sharpens easily in the field, and throws sparks off a flint when you need fire. A high scandi grind makes quick work of wood, cutting clean feathersticks and notches, and the crisp 90 degree spine scrapes tinder and strikes a ferro rod. A full, hand contoured natural micarta handle nearly an inch thick fills the hand for secure control through long sessions and hard chopping, backed by a full exposed tang for serious strength.
