MagnaCut Frame Lock with Titanium Handles

The McNees MAC 2 is a compact, pocket-friendly folder from the Performance Machined Line, built to bring McNees Custom Knives quality to a more accessible price point without leaving the USA shop. It's designed for everyday carry users who want full-custom flow-through lines and performance in a smaller package.

Blade

The 3" drop point blade is made from MagnaCut steel with an Atomic Stonewash finish, in Atomic Blue and Bronze. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel designed specifically for knife use, offering excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and good toughness compared to older stainless steels. A new High Performance Hollow Grind on this run makes it an excellent slicer.

Handle

The handle is titanium, finished to match the Atomic Blue and Bronze color scheme with stonewashed hardware. Titanium is lightweight, corrosion resistant, and durable, contributing to the knife's low 3.4oz carry weight.

Carry

This knife runs a frame lock, where a cut-out section of the titanium frame itself flexes in behind the blade tang to hold it open. It's a simple, strong lockup that's easy to disengage with one hand. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry.
