McNees PM Mac 2
The PM Mac 2 is the workhorse of the McNees Knives catalog, the Performance Machined folder that Jonathan McNees built to bring his custom shop standards to a knife made for daily rotation. Machined in Alabama with a MagnaCut blade, titanium frame lock, and the fit and finish McNees is known for, the PM Mac 2 has become one of the most carried American mid-tech folders on the market.
PM Mac 2 3.5 and 3 Inch Blade Sizes
The platform runs in two footprints. The PM Mac 2 3.5 is the full-size expression, a drop point with real reach that still disappears into a pocket, while the PM Mac 2 3 brings the same architecture down to a lighter, more office-friendly package. MagnaCut Blades and Gen 2 Upgrades
Blades come in CPM MagnaCut run hard at 63 to 64 HRC, ground thin for slicing performance in drop point, spear point, and tanto profiles, with dedicated hollow grind runs appearing for cutting purists. The Gen 2 update refined the platform without changing its soul, adding threaded standoffs, a milled clip area, Delrin caged ceramic bearings, and US made titanium clip and body screws.
Milled Titanium Patterns and Inlays
PM Mac 2 handles rotate through Atomic anodized titanium in stonewash, bronze, blue, and green and bronze, milled in patterns like Frag, Honeycomb, Swerve, Fastback, Rock, and Jigged, plus skeletonized frames and inlay runs in Jade G-10, Richlite, and Micarta.
