52100 Fixed Blade with Grip X Handles

The MD Edgeworks Bird & Trout is a compact fixed blade designed for field dressing birds and trout. The 3.25" blade is sized for precision work while the overall length keeps it portable for hunters and anglers. The stonewashed finish reduces glare and hides wear.

Blade

The 3.25" blade uses 52100 ball bearing steel at 0.168" thick. 52100 is a high-carbon steel known for its fine grain structure and ability to take a very sharp edge. It offers excellent edge retention and is easy to sharpen in the field. The stonewashed finish provides some corrosion resistance while maintaining a non-reflective surface.

Handle

Blue Grip X scales are bolted to the full tang. Grip X is a rubberized material designed to provide excellent traction even when wet. The handle is contoured for comfort during extended use and includes a finger guard for safety.

Carry

Ships with a Kydex sheath that can be configured for belt, pack, or chest carry. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel. The sheath holds the knife securely with positive snap retention.

The knife weighs just 4.37 ounces making it easy to carry all day.
