The Mini Scalpel from MD Edgeworks is a compact fixed blade designed for precision cutting tasks. The unique laminated blade construction combines 1084 high-carbon steel with 15n27 stainless steel, offering a balance of edge retention and corrosion resistance. The mammoth molar handle provides a distinctive look and excellent grip.

Blade

The 2.5" blade uses a laminated construction with 1084 high-carbon steel at the core and 15n27 stainless steel cladding. This combination provides excellent toughness and edge retention while resisting corrosion. The stonewash finish gives the blade a matte, non-reflective surface that helps hide scratches and wear.

Handle

Red mammoth molar scales are bolted to a full tang. Mammoth ivory is a natural material that develops a unique patina over time. It offers excellent grip and is warm to the touch. The handle is contoured for comfort during extended use.

Carry

Ships with a leather sheath that provides secure retention and easy access. The sheath is designed to protect the blade and handle while keeping the knife readily available. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel.
