D2 Liner Lock with G-10 Handles

The Praetorian Scout M/P is Medford Knife and Tool's production-oriented take on the design that built the brand. It brings the Praetorian's tanto blade to a wider audience through a titanium liner lock and G-10 scales, keeping the rugged feel of the original while trimming build complexity and weight.

Blade

The 3.75" tanto blade is D2 tool steel finished in black PVD, with a thickness of 0.19" for a stout, hard-use profile. D2 holds an edge well and resists wear thanks to its high carbon and chromium content, and the PVD coating adds corrosion resistance while cutting glare. The tanto shape gives a strong, reinforced tip suited to piercing and hard contact.

Handle

OD Green G-10 scales cover the handle. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate pressed under heat, prized for being lightweight, stable, and grippy even when wet. A 6Al4V titanium liner backs the construction, and the knife weighs in at 7.6oz.

Carry

This is Medford's first liner lock design, using a titanium liner that flexes to secure the blade open and is pushed aside to release it. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
