The North Edge Tools Nomad is a compact fixed blade built for everyday carry and detail work. Its smaller frame suits users who want a precise, easy-to-manage blade for tasks like cordage, packages, and light utility cutting.

Blade

The 3" blade is made from AEB-L steel with a bead blasted finish at 0.125" thick. AEB-L is a stainless steel prized for its fine grain structure, which allows it to take an extremely sharp edge and hold it well, along with strong corrosion resistance. The bead blasted finish gives the blade a matte, low-glare surface.

Handle

The handle combines TruStone and Richlite. TruStone is an engineered stone composite that offers a dense, smooth feel with distinctive coloring, while Richlite is a resin-infused paper composite known for being lightweight, stable, and resistant to moisture. Together they create a handle that is durable and visually distinct without added bulk.

Carry

The Nomad ships with a Kydex sheath, offering a rigid, form-fitted carry option that allows for quick, secure retrieval. Kydex resists moisture and wear, making it a solid choice for daily carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the full construction provides the strength instead.
