The Osprey EDC from North Edge Tools is a compact fixed blade built for daily carry, sized to handle everyday cutting tasks without unnecessary bulk.

Blade

The 3" blade is made from MagnaCut steel, finished with a bead blast coating. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered to balance edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it a strong choice for a knife that sees regular use. At .125" thick, the blade stays agile for fine cutting tasks while retaining enough strength for harder use.

Handle

The handle combines black Richlite with a Gcarta inlay. Richlite is a paper-based composite resin material, pressed and cured for a dense, stable grip surface that resists moisture. Gcarta is a layered composite material known for its texture and durability, adding both grip and visual contrast to the handle.

Carry

The Osprey ships with a Kydex sheath, offering a secure friction fit and quick-draw retention. Kydex is lightweight, weatherproof, and holds its shape over years of carry, making it well suited for belt or pack-mounted carry options.
