The Osprey EDC is a collaboration between North Edge Tools and Flying Shark Knives, pairing a premium steel blade with a one-of-a-kind custom handle. This is a compact fixed blade built for everyday carry rather than heavy field work, suited to collectors and users who want a small knife with standout materials.

Blade

The 3" blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern powder steel engineered for high edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness that outperforms most older stainless steels. At 0.125" thick with a bead blasted finish, the blade has a matte, low-glare surface that resists fingerprints and holds up well to daily use.

Handle

Flying Shark Knives built this custom handle from a combination of G-10, Corian, and acrylic. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate prized for durability and grip, Corian is a solid surface material often used in custom knife work for its color depth and smooth finish, and acrylic adds a layered, translucent accent. Together they create a handle with a distinct look that won't be exactly duplicated knife to knife.

Carry

The Osprey ships with a Kydex sheath, a rigid thermoplastic that offers secure retention and quick, quiet blade access. As a fixed blade, there's no lock mechanism - the full construction relies on a solid, one-piece design. The sheath supports belt carry and includes a lanyard attachment point.
