The Raven is a compact fixed blade from North Edge Tools, built as an everyday utility and neck knife for users who want premium steel in a small-footprint package. Its size makes it suited for detail work, light camp tasks, or simply carrying as a backup blade.

Blade

The 3" blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern powder-metallurgy steel that delivers strong edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness in one package - a combination that's hard to find in older steels. The bead blasted finish gives it a matte, low-glare surface while adding a layer of protection against moisture. At .10" thick, the blade stays nimble for fine cutting work without feeling flimsy.

Handle

The handle uses Blue Canyon Richlite, a composite made from layered paper fibers saturated in resin and compressed under heat. It's dense, stable, and resistant to moisture, with a distinct blue mottled look that sets it apart from traditional handle materials. The handle measures 3.75" long, giving a full grip despite the knife's compact overall size.

Carry

The Raven ships with a Kydex sheath, a rigid thermoplastic that holds the blade securely with friction-fit retention and resists wear better than leather. Kydex sheaths typically allow for neck carry, belt attachment, or discreet pocket carry depending on how you set up the mounting hardware.
