This Blade Show West exclusive from Pro-Tech Knives revives the Walter Brend Classic design in a limited run of 90 serialized pieces. Built for collectors who want distinctive materials paired with a modern, high-performance blade steel, this edition pairs a solid blue aluminum handle with a two-tone MagnaCut blade and black lip pearl button.

Blade

The 3.35" drop point blade is made from MagnaCut steel, finished with a DLC black two-tone treatment over satin flats. MagnaCut was engineered specifically for knifemakers, offering excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness that holds up well compared to older high-end steels. The drop point shape is a versatile everyday profile suited to both detail work and harder cutting tasks.

Handle

The handle is solid blue aluminum, a lightweight and rigid material that resists wear and keeps the overall weight down to just 2.93oz. Black hardware and a black lip pearl button accent the handle for a clean, high-contrast look.

Carry

This knife uses a button lock, where pressing the button releases internal mechanisms and allows the blade to fold closed; the same button also deploys the blade quickly for one-hand opening. A DLC black deep carry clip is mounted for right-hand, tip-up carry only, keeping the knife low in the pocket.
