MagnaCut Button Lock with Aluminum Handles

The Rockeye Operator Edition is a collaboration between Pro-Tech Knives and custom maker Les George, built for users who want premium materials in a no-frills, sterile package. This button lock folder is sized for daily carry while offering enough blade to handle real work.

Blade

The 3.375" drop point blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a DLC Black coating. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered for an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it one of the most capable steels available in a working folder. The DLC coating adds additional surface hardness and reduces glare, while the drop point shape keeps the tip strong and the belly useful for everyday cutting tasks.

Handle

The handle is machined 6061 aluminum with a black carbide texture for secure grip. Aluminum keeps the overall weight down to 4.64oz while remaining rigid and durable. Black hardware throughout keeps the look sterile and consistent.

Carry

The Rockeye uses a button lock, releasing the blade with a simple press for fast, one-handed deployment and closure. A tritium insert in the button allows the release point to be located in low light. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only, with a black standard three-hole clip.
