The Reate EXO-OG is an out-the-front (OTF) automatic knife designed for users who appreciate mechanical precision and high-performance cutting. It's a modern take on the classic OTF form, blending smooth operation with premium materials.
Blade
The 3.75" drop point blade is made from Elmax steel, a premium German stainless steel known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. The satin finish reduces glare and highlights the steel's natural luster. The drop point shape is versatile, offering a good balance between tip strength and slicing capability.
Handle
The handle is made from bead-blasted titanium with orange Micarta inlays. Titanium is a premium handle material that's lighter than steel, stronger than aluminum, and completely corrosion-proof. It's warm to the touch compared to other metals and develops a unique patina with use. Micarta is a composite material made from layers of linen, canvas, or paper impregnated with resin. It's durable, lightweight, and provides excellent grip. The orange inlays add a striking visual contrast to the titanium.
Carry
The EXO-OG uses a sliding safety lock to secure the blade in both open and closed positions. The pocket clip is reversible, allowing for right or left-hand carry, and is positioned tip-down. The knife is designed to glide open and closed with effortless smoothness, making it a satisfying fidget tool as well as a functional cutter.
