The Little Ronin is a scaled-down version of Shade Indonesia's full-size Ronin, built for those who want the same presence and cutting power in a shorter package. At 15.75 inches overall, this is a serious camp and chopping blade for users who prefer a hand-forged, full-tang knife over a factory-stamped one.

Blade

The 9-inch blade is hand forged from 5160 steel with a Darkwash Brute de Forge finish that leaves the hammer texture visible on the flats. 5160 is a spring steel known for its toughness and resistance to chipping, making it a strong choice for chopping and batoning tasks where lesser steels might crack. At 0.250" thick, this blade carries enough mass to move through wood with authority.

Handle

The handle is Micarta, a composite made from linen or canvas fabric layered with resin under pressure. It holds up well in wet or greasy conditions and won't degrade over time like natural materials can. Full tang construction runs the steel through the entire handle for added strength, and the knife weighs 24.8oz in hand.

Carry

The Little Ronin ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. This is a fixed blade with a continuous full tang running from tip to butt.
