The Little Ronin is a scaled-down version of Shade Indonesia's 17-inch original, built for those who want the same presence and cutting power in a more manageable package. At 15.75 inches overall, it works as a camp blade, chopper, or field companion for anyone who wants serious cutting capability without the length of a full-size sword-style knife.

Blade

The 9-inch blade is hand forged from 5160 steel at a substantial 0.250 inches thick, finished in a Darkwash Brute de Forge that leaves the hammer-forged texture visible along the flats. 5160 is a spring steel prized for toughness and shock resistance, making it well-suited to chopping and batoning where lesser steels might chip. The finish is a functional look showing the blade's forged origin rather than a fully polished surface.

Handle

The handle is Micarta, a resin-impregnated linen or canvas composite known for its durability and secure grip even when wet or covered in grease. It measures 6.75 inches long and about 1 inch thick, giving plenty of room for a firm two-hand or one-hand grip depending on the task. Full tang construction runs the steel through the entire handle for added strength and balance. Total weight comes in at 24.8 ounces.

Carry

The Little Ronin ships with a leather sheath sized for belt carry. As a fixed blade, the tang and handle are one solid piece, ready to draw and use.
