The Little Ronin is a scaled-down version of Shade Indonesia's full-size 17-inch Ronin, built for those who want the same presence and cutting power in a more manageable package. At 15.75 inches overall, this hand-forged blade suits camp use, chopping tasks, and collectors who appreciate hand-forged construction.

Blade

The 9-inch blade is hand forged from 5160 steel at 0.250 inch thick, finished in a Darkwash Brute de Forge that leaves the hammer-forged texture visible along the flats. 5160 is a spring steel prized for toughness and shock resistance, making it well-suited to chopping and hard use where a blade needs to absorb impact without chipping.

Handle

The handle is Rosewood, a dense hardwood with a tight grain that offers a warm, natural look and a solid, secure grip. Handle length runs 6.75 inches over a full tang, and the knife weighs 24.8 ounces, giving it substantial heft for chopping work.

Carry

A leather sheath is included for belt carry, protecting the edge while allowing quick access in the field. As a fixed blade with full tang construction, a single solid piece of steel runs the length of the handle.
