Damascus Frame Lock with Titanium Handles

The Spartan-Harsey Folder "Plague Doctor" is a collaboration between Spartan Blades and knife maker William "Bill" Harsey Jr, built for collectors and users who want a high-performance folder with distinctive materials. This limited run features a blue titanium handle paired with Chad Nichols Damascus steel.

Blade

The 4" drop point blade is forged from Chad Nichols Damascus, a pattern-welded steel made by folding and forging multiple steel types together. Beyond its distinctive layered pattern, quality Damascus offers a good balance of edge retention and toughness. The drop point shape keeps the spine strong while providing a controllable tip for detail work and a full belly for slicing tasks.

Handle

The handle is finished in blue titanium, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant metal that also serves as the knife's locking mechanism. Titanium offers excellent strength-to-weight performance, keeping the knife manageable at 5.9oz despite its full-size 8.8125" overall length.

Carry

This knife uses a frame lock, where a section of the titanium handle itself flexes into place behind the blade tang to hold it open securely. It disengages with a simple thumb push on the lock bar. The pocket clip is configurable for right or left-hand carry, tip up, making it adaptable to different carry preferences.
