The Spartan-Harsey Folder "Plague Doctor" is a limited-edition folder born from a collaboration between Spartan Blades and knife maker William "Bill" Harsey Jr. Originally a one-off custom design, it's now released periodically for collectors and users who want a distinctive, field-ready folder with premium materials throughout.

Blade

The 4" drop point blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a stonewash finish. MagnaCut was engineered specifically for knife use, balancing high edge retention with strong corrosion resistance and toughness - it holds an edge longer than most stainless steels while resisting chipping under hard use. The drop point shape offers a strong tip and a generous belly for everyday cutting tasks.

Handle

The handle is built from titanium, contoured in Harsey's signature ergonomic style for a secure grip in varied conditions. Titanium is lightweight, naturally corrosion resistant, and durable enough for hard field use. Despite its full size, the knife weighs 5.9oz.

Carry

This folder uses a frame lock, where a section of the titanium handle flexes to lock behind the blade tang and holds it open during use. The pocket clip can be set up for right or left-hand carry, tip up, giving users flexibility in how they carry it.
