The Phrike is a compact EDC/self-defense fixed blade designed by Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey. The 4.25-inch swedged drop point blade is ground from CPM MagnaCut at 61-63 HRC, delivering exceptional edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. At 0.1875-inch thick, the blade geometry balances tip strength with slicing efficiency for utility tasks and defensive applications. SpartaCoat PVD finishes—DLC Flat Black or ZrN Flat Dark Earth—provide additional corrosion protection and eliminate glare.
The minimal inset G10 handle in black, green, or coyote tan keeps the profile slim while maintaining secure grip. At 8.5 inches overall and just 0.244 pounds, the Phrike is light enough for all-day carry without compromising capability. The compact dimensions make it suitable for concealed carry or as a lightweight field knife.
The Kydex sheath includes an IWB (Inside the Waistband) loop for discreet carry and rapid deployment. Made in the USA.
In Greek mythology, Phrike was the goddess of horror and trembling fear—her name literally translates to "shiver" or "tremor." It's a fitting name for a compact blade designed to inspire confidence in uncertain situations.
