Blade
The 2.02" blade is made from Carpenter Technology's Micro-Melt PD#1 steel, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel known for its superior wear resistance and toughness. The Micro-Melt powder metal process ensures a fine, homogenous microstructure for consistent performance. The full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade features a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, enhancing durability and reducing glare.
Handle
The handle is constructed from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), a lightweight, injection-molded plastic reinforced with fiberglass strands. FRN is nearly indestructible, impervious to moisture and chemicals, and offers excellent grip even when wet. The deep burgundy color adds a touch of elegance to this practical material. The knife weighs just 2.4oz, making it a lightweight yet robust choice for everyday carry.
