Blade
The 4.0" satin-finished PlainEdge blade is crafted from CPM S30V stainless steel, known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. The full-flat grind provides superior edge geometry, making it ideal for slicing-focused tasks and general-purpose use. The blade's thickness of 0.145" ensures durability while maintaining a balance between strength and slicing performance.
Handle
The handle is built with nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners and peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. G-10 is a tough, lightweight material made from layers of fiberglass cloth soaked in resin and compressed under heat and pressure. It is impervious to moisture, chemicals, and temperature extremes, providing excellent grip and durability. The open-backed design contributes to the knife's overall weight of 4.4 ounces.
