The Vero Engineering Aura pairs a hand-forged Damascus blade with a slim aluminum handle, built for everyday carry users who want a folder that balances well and opens smoothly. It's designed to be carried daily and used without hesitation.

Blade

The 3.3" drop point blade is made from Damascus steel, formed by folding and forge-welding multiple layers of steel together. This process creates the distinctive wavy pattern visible on the blade face while producing a durable edge that takes a fine finish. The drop point shape offers a strong tip and versatile belly for everyday cutting tasks.

Handle

The handle is machined aluminum, a lightweight metal that resists corrosion and keeps the overall knife weight down to 4.2oz. Its rigid structure holds up well to daily use without adding bulk to the profile.

Carry

The Aura uses a crossbar lock, a mechanism where a spring-loaded bar sits in a channel to lock the blade open; pressing the bar to either side releases it for closing. This design keeps the mechanism sturdy while allowing smooth one-handed operation. The pocket clip is configurable for right or left-hand carry, tip up.
