Blade

The 3.25" tanto blade is made from S45VN steel with a blackwash finish. S45VN offers strong edge retention and corrosion resistance, making it a reliable choice for everyday cutting tasks. The tanto style with a high flat grind adds tip strength for piercing and harder use while the blackwash finish hides scratches and wear over time.

Handle

OD Green G-10 scales cover skeletonized titanium liners underneath. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate that's lightweight, textured for grip, and resistant to moisture. The skeletonized liners cut weight while maintaining structure, keeping the overall knife at just 3.8oz.

Carry

The Avid 3 uses a titanium liner lock with a steel lockbar insert, which adds durability and resists premature wear compared to a standard titanium lock face.
