Blade

The 3.30" drop point blade is made from 14C28N steel with a stonewash finish. 14C28N is a Sandvik steel known for good edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and easy sharpening, making it a practical choice for daily cutting tasks. Spine jimping adds a defined point of control during use.

Handle

The handle scales are Micarta, a resin-impregnated linen or canvas composite valued for its durable, secure grip even in wet conditions. At 3.79oz, the knife carries light without feeling insubstantial.

Carry

The Marten uses a Top Liner Lock, where a spring-loaded metal liner shifts behind the blade to hold it open, releasable with a push to the side. A reversible pocket clip allows right or left hand, tip up carry, with added clearance for thicker pocket fabric.
