White River Model 1 (M1)
The Model 1 is the flagship design from White River Knives. It’s an incredibly adept option for
EDC. The deep finger choil is comfortable and allows for an incredibly degree of control over
the knife. The M1 has a three-inch blade, which is enough sharp edge to handle just about
anything you’ll run into in an average day.
The White River Model 1 is available in several different handle materials, including paracord,
Micarta, and various colors of G-10. It also comes in two blade profiles. The M1 Backpacker has
a standard drop point profile, while the M1 Skinner has a deep belly. Blade finishes include
Black Cerakote and Stonewashed. Suffice it to say, there’s a configuration out there to please
everyone.
A sturdy Kydex sheath comes standard with the White River Model 1. It is adjustable so you can
carry it in a number of positions. There is also a leather sheath available as an aftermarket
addition.
